This is the most incredible amateur music show you will ever witness. Great music + great acts of courage = Fantastic entertainment.

The Coffee Shop Jam, held twice a year in the spring and fall, is an opportunity for my guitar students, Joe Walker's guitar students, Andrew Rudd's's drum students, and Brady Kish's bass students to perform their songs in a great music club for an enthusiastic audience. It's part recital, part rock concert.

There is no particular style to describe Cyrille Gosselin’s band. It is a musical journey.
Some songs are tinted with jazz chords or New Orleans rhythms, testimony of Cyrille’s love for American musical heritage. You can clap and dance or get carried away listening to beautiful guitar picking with the simple apparel of acoustic songs.

The band is also diverse: multi instrumentist Brooke Haze plays accordion, Jeff Terada is on tenor sax, Alex Babakoff on bass, Chris Hankins on drums, Virginie Peltier-El Naggar on vocals and Cyrille Gosselin on guitars and vocals.

All songs are originals and composed by Cyrille Gosselin. Many of the lyrics were written by Marie Gosselin and speak about the ups and downs of life in an ironic and poetic way.

It was music that broke all the rules, caused an uproar, and turned the establishment on its head. It was the birth of the modern, the birth of the cool. It rocked and it rolled 400 years ago, and we play it like it was written yesterday. Experience the music that pushed the limits and changed the world, including works by Castello, Marini, Rossi, Jarzebski, and more.
