A native son of Kansas City, Missouri born, and raised, Logan Richardson is considered by top critics as a breath of fresh air for the future of music. Richardson is a driving alto sax player, composer, producer, and educator who pushes the boundaries of modern improvised music and carries the torch of vitality for improvised music. He is known“to rattle the jazz cage and confront its keyholders,” (All About Jazz). This concert is a solo performance featuring Logan Richardson.
