To create their emotive jazz during weird times, five farflung Seattleites—bassist Ben Feldman, saxophonist Santosh Sharma, drummer Xavier Lecouturier, pianist Dylan Hayes, and guitarist Martin Budde—convened in Alaska, livestreamed from an airplane hangar, and created their debut Second Wave. Trumpeter Noah Halpern joins them.
