With a voice steeped in the emerald mists of the Pacific Northwest, Luness creates a dream-like sound that transports the listener into a sometimes imagined, sometimes very real world, born into being through song. Backed by traditional rock instrumentation, cello, and electronic soundscapes, Elyse and Julia blend melodic lyrics that invoke the evolution of collective consciousness with an inclusiveness that speaks to all people.
