Journalist and writer Knute Berger provides the welcome for a celebration of a new work that encapsulates the history of Seward Park. ‘Wild Isle’ is the book from author Paul Talbert, with contributions from researchers with the Friends of Seward Park and Karen O’Brien, photo archivist of Rainier Valley Historical Society. Talbert will share selected stories from this remarkable volume, rich with rare images from the park’s intriguing past. ‘Wild Isle’ will be available for purchase at this historic event.
