Once Around the Sun is a musical duo of siblings from India, who followed their individual musical journey but realized that their sound had more depth together. Their music is a subtle reflection of their culture and journey of life.
Erike Lundahl is a musician and climate justice activist, living on traditional Duwamish Land, in Seattle. She employs her classically trained voice and distinctive “tapping” guitar style to create an enveloping, earth-centered musical space. Her poetic, often autobiographical lyrics employ poignant and powerful imagery to deal with contemporary social issues.
Kurt Reynolds is a porch sittin folk musician born and raised in the river valleys and rocky beaches of Washington State. Her music is reflective of the land that has raised her, but also expresses a deep melancholy and apathy towards the human condition. Find her at Howarth Park in Everett, at the Skykomish River, or drinking Pacifico at Conor Byrne on a weekday night.
Pointedly critical yet hopeful, Beasley writes #SelfHelpFolkMusic that offers a strong melody, a biting criticism, and a chorus you’ll find yourself humming which calls the listener to live more honestly hopeful.
