Tom Baker Quartet (TBQ) celebrates a new album – BEGIN AGAIN – with an album-release-show and party at the Royal Room. This special holiday edition of TBQ means some festive costumes and wacky holiday tunes!
TBQ performs surprising and well-crafted avant-jazz tunes, as well as beautiful and haunting improvisations. Their music blurs the boundaries between genres, between styles, between notated music and free improvisation.
The unique sonic landscapes that result are both edgy and captivating , with an ear toward the future of creative music in the anthropocene.
