Seattle based singer and rock marvel, Kim Virant first gained popularity in the early 90s with her band Lazy Susan. The band opened for such artists as Pearl Jam and performed at many of the original club-scene venues, taking part in the Seattle grunge subculture. When the band broke up in the late 90’s, Virant went on to pursue a career of her own, making music out of the blues and country idiom. See her tonight with long-time friends and collaborators; Kathy Moore, Gary Westlake, Jeff Rouse, Max Rose as well as her own husband Chris Friel. The group will take you on a musical journey of originals and then on to a set of The Stones because who doesn’t need a little rock n’ roll during a pandemic.
“I went to Kim’s first show ever at at an Irish Pub in Wallingford, and she was fabulous! Fell in love on the spot and followed her through Lazy Susan. She’s not only an amazing person, but an amazing voice as well.” – Mike McCready
