Fernando Ferrarone Quartet – Album Release
Jazz trumpeter and alto saxophonist Fernando Ferrarone and his quartet will be performing music from his recently released second album. Ferrarone is a band leader, composer, and arranger. Fernando attended Berklee College of Music on a full tuition scholarship in Boston. He has performed in various jazz festivals such as the Pompano Beach Jazz Festival, Clermont Jazz Festival, and the Monterrey Jazz Festival. Fernando has performed throughout New York City jazz clubs such as Smalls, Ornithology, and many others. He has also performed with bands like Tony Succar, Gafieira Rio Miami, and The Horizons Jazz Orchestra. Internationally, he has performed extensively in Argentina, Peru, and Colombia. He was also presented with an Outstanding Trumpet Soloist Award from Wynton Marsalis at the 2013 and 2014 Essentially Ellington Competition at Jazz at the Lincoln Center.
