Advance tickets can only be purchased online-we do not sell advance tickets at the venue. Refunds are not available within 48 hours of the event. Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room.

Seating for non-diners is first come, first served. Please arrive early to guarantee a seat!

Created and conducted by composer Wayne Horvitz, Electric Circus remixes classic soul, R & B, funk, jazz, and rock for the 21st century. Using conduction ala Butch Morris, the music incorporates live improvising grooves and riffs from James Brown, Sly and the Family Stone, Sister Sledge, Willie Dixon, Los Lobos, Electric Miles Davis, The Bangles, 60’s psychedelia and many, many more.

Winner of the American Prize for Orchestral Composition, Horvitz is best known for his own compositions and ensembles, and his collaborations with John Zorn, Butch Morris, Bill Frisell, filmmaker Gus Van Sant, choreographer Paul Taylor, The Seattle Symphony, soul/gospel icon Fontella Bass among many others. In 2016, he was the recipient of the Doris Duke Performing Artist Award in Jazz.
