Grammy® Award-winning Queer singer/songwriter Matt Alber hails from Portland, OR and will be joined at the Royal Room by Seattle legends Rebecca Young and Daniel Walker. Reminiscent of Rufus Wainwright, Billy Joel & The Indigo Girls, Matt’s songs are rooted in moments forever etched into his memory and often explore the tender and treacherous regions of the heart. He’s had the privilege of performing on the prestigious American Songbook Series at Lincoln Center in New York and his songs can be heard in TV land on shows like “911” (FOX) and “The Fosters” (ABC Family). Matt is also a documentary filmmaker currently producing an original series celebrating Queer artists from across the country called Queer As *Fundamental (aka Queer AF*.)
