Advance tickets can only be purchased online-we do not sell advance tickets at the venue. Refunds are not available within 48 hours of the event. Tickets do not guarantee seating during shows at the Royal Room. 

We are now accepting reservations for diners! After purchasing tickets, please visit the Reservations page to book a table. Table reservations require advance tickets, and are only for guests who plan to dine at the Royal Room.  We do not take reservations over the phone.

Seating for non-diners is first come, first served. Please arrive early to guarantee a seat!

The Royal Room is All Ages until 10pm. 

Lily Minke Tahar is a multi-instrumentalist composer and songwriter residing on unceded Duwamish Territory so-called Seattle, WA. She plays keyboards in the soul-gaze powerhouse Day Soul Exquisite and plays bass in electro-soul group FEM du Lit. With her solo project, Yearn, she writes auto-mythological songs which weave together her west-Sumatran heritage with the history of the place she calls home, leveraging her prowess on keys, drums, guitar, and bass to produce a spellbinding left-of-pop sound existing somewhere at the confluence of jazz, soul, americana, and neo-classical music. With a lyricism that’s been described as “playful and sincere” she brings levity to heavy subject matter like nuclear war, climate catastrophe, and grief. She hopes that her music will offer a new paradigm of placeness and selfness at this fractal nexus of history.
