Trombonasaurus Wrecks, a five trombone plus rhythm section jazz ensemble, has a strong educational component and is historically known as a Jazz Trombone Choir. The Seattle-based group enjoyed success in the ’90s and early 21st Century, performing at various venues and developing a following. After several years of hiatus, leader Dan Marcus, inspired by a new coterie of gifted young jazz trombonists, has assembled a team to revive the group. Trombonasaurus Wrecks has upcoming performances throughout the 2024 season, tonight features: Dan Marcus, Conner Eisenmenger, Bezzy Tafesse, Dave Marriott, Audrey Stanglund, John Hansen, Heather Chriscaden, and Greg Williamson.
