Presenting first-rate performances showcasing the dynamic and stylistic versatility of the saxophone, Ken Murphy (soprano saxophone), Evan Takle (alto saxophone), Barbara Hubers-Drake (tenor saxophone), and Lori Shepherd (baritone saxophone) met while participating in various jazz orchestras throughout the Seattle area. The quartet first came together in 2019 to perform in The International Bach in the Subway Festival and has expanded since then to the performance of many musical genres. The quartet will be joined for this concert by Seth Ahnert on piano, Phil Demaree on bass, and Rob Parks on drums.
