Modern Songbook Society NW featuring Nancy Erickson Lamont, Jovino Santos Neto, and Jenny Davis
This performance / forum blends the Great American Songbook tradition with contemporary jazz, folk, pop, and soul influences. Hosted by Nancy Erickson Lamont, an award-winning jazz singer-songwriter, Nancy will be joined by Jovino Santos Neto (three-time Latin Grammy nominee, pianist, songwriter) and Jenny Davis (jazz vocalist/composer with international performing experience) to explore modern interpretations of timeless songs written by the performers themselves. Modern Songbook Society (MSS) is an organization started by 2x Grammy winner singer/songwriter Nicole Zuraitis from the NY area. We are bringing her MSS to the Northwest! Performances will include time for Q & A about the writers’ process.
