Kris Angelis
Kris is performing an intimate solo acoustic set of her folk/Americana songs about heartbreak and hope, interspersed with funny and touching stories. She’s been living in Okinawa, Japan, and is back in the US this summer to tour her latest album “Le Sigh”. She’s excited and honored to be supporting Spencer LaJoye.
Kris grew up on a Florida farm, making up songs with her sister in their treehouse. In 2019, she packed up her broken heart and performed in all 50 states in just three months. Her Americana folk/pop has taken her to stages including Your Roots Are Showing Festival (Ireland), Folk Alliance International, Life is Beautiful, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and the Songs & Whispers Tour across the UK and Europe. A Recording Academy member, she sang on Grammy-nominated albums in 2024 and 2025 and has released seven studio records — including Le Sigh (Blue Elán Records, 2025). Her music has hit #1 on the iTunes singer/songwriter chart, appeared on Billboard and Americana radio, and been featured on SiriusXM, in TV/film, and by American Songwriter, Rolling Stone, and HuffPost. Her latest album is nominated for the ISSA’s, HIMA’s, and Josie awards.
