The Drunken Tenor, oft-described as Jack Black meets Pavarotti or a snarky Victor Borge, is at it again. Before getting stuck on Thanksgiving with your drunk uncle, spend some time with The Drunken Tenor where you will enjoy an intimate evening as he reflects on life and music. A show that is one part standup, one part vaudeville and shaken with sketch comedy, it will brighten your holiday spirit and tickle your humorous humerus.

As The Drunken Tenor, Grammy Award winning Metropolitan Opera tenor Robert McPherson dishes up a heaping plate of standup, impersonations, and song parodies to unleash his inner thoughts for a funny feast fit for a king. Over the last couple of years, he has performed A Very Drunken Christmas for Seattle Opera, The Drunken Tenor’s Operapalooza Spectacular Shindig for Tacoma Opera and The Drunken Tenor’s Halloween Spooktacular at the Vashon Center for the Arts – and the audiences laughed. They laughed hard. A Very Drunken Christmas returns this Christmas at Seattle’s Center Theater.

The Drunken Tenor originally debuted at special request of Seattle Opera BRAVO! and after multiple performances with the Seattle Fringe Festival, he won Best of Fringe. He’s also appeared at Seattle’s Bumbershoot Festival, Café Nordo’s Knife Room, Solo Bar and other popular venues throughout the Pacific Northwest. He’s an endorsed feature for Joke Masters and has been seen as a standup comedian at Club Comedy Seattle, Laughs & Laps, North End Comedy and Bob’s Comedy Jive, as well as many private events.
