Woodland Theater is a multi-use creative complex making space for artists in Seattle, providing private practice spaces and studios for musicians & artists, and occasionally hosting workshops, performances, and other events for our creatives.

The building which currently houses Woodland Theater was built in 1926 as a silent movie theater, with capacity for 600 movie-goers and complete with a Kimball Pipe Organ. Over the past 97 years, the building has been used as a movie theater, an indoor ski park, a medical device maker, a print shop, a record store, and a concert venue.

Recent weather has left the building with major plumbing repairs and we need your help! Woodland tenants and affiliates Animal Adjective, Teenage Toad, JM Fodder, and Mason Lynass are sure to provide the night with a eclectic, high energy, dynamic and creative music. Help us keep creative spaces in Seattle!

Animal Adjective has gone through many changes but now consists of five dudes from all walks of life, called together by their animal instincts and have achieved a sound as vast as the animal kingdom itself! Well not really. They’re just a rock band, but a pretty darn good one, with cool harmonies, jazzy, punky, and rocky roots that are guaranteed to punk up your day. Their songs are candid and heartfelt with as much energy as a wild animal – and their live performances are not to be missed!

Teenage Toad: Toads in your gutter, Slime in your hand; it’s yr favorite neighborhood junk rock band.

Jesse Miller creates music and plays basketball in Seattle, Washington. He has been involved with the production of over thirty releases of his own music and others’ since 2010. Jesse’s newest single Broken Up Before is an Early 2000’s tinged Pop-Rock song drawing inspiration from songwriters such as Rivers Cuomo and Max Martin. JM Fodder regularly plays shows in and around the Pacific Northwest with an ever evolving band. You can also catch Jesse as a sideman in Jonny G and the Music Factory, Rachel Ewen, and Peg.
