They get up an hour early for school all year to hone their sound, and now these young student musicians are ready to swing and entertain you in their band’s 2024 culminating performance! Robert Eagle Staff Middle School is proud to present the premier band of its award-winning jazz program, Robert Eagle Staff Jazz 1. Directed by Patrick Gordon, the group performs all genres of jazz including big band, Latin jazz, and New Orleans style brass. Since their school’s founding in 2017, Eagle Staff’s Jazz 1 bands have been honored several times with the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival sweepstakes award and other first-place finishes. We invite you to celebrate all they’ve learned as this unique combination of students performs together one last time!
